A new book, From the Monastic Notebook of Swami Yogeshananda, is being published as a follow-up to Yogeshananda's much-loved and highly-respected volume Six Lighted Windows. This limited edition, one-of-a-kind hardback book is a collection of the Swami's notes from lectures, classes, and conversations with senior monks of the order, recorded during 60 years of monastic life. It includes additional material on the Swamis profiled in Six Lighted Windows, along with photos, letters and nuggets from many others.

Beautifully hand-bound by a devotee of the Vedanta Center of Atlanta, From the Monastic Notebook is not a textbook. It is one monk's record, from his notebooks, of what the teachers who have touched his life and the lives of many others around the world have said.

The Swami decided to publish these notes now not only to offer readers a valuable record which might otherwise be lost, but also to support the growth of Vedanta. The Vedanta Center in Atlanta, the only center in Georgia and the Carolinas, is building a worship hall and is in urgent need of additional funds to complete the project. Devotees persuaded Swami to make public his notes to help.

From the Monastic Notebook of Swami Yogeshananda is available only to supporters who donate $250 or more to the fund. Donations can be made as indicated below.
