Dear Devotees and Friends:

I am delighted to announce that Pravrajika* Gitaprana will lead our retreat this year, September 23-25 at the Center for New Beginnings in Dahlonega, GA.  Her topic will be relationship with, and worship of, the Divine Mother. Please mark your calendar for what is certain to be an extraordinary experience. This isn't speculation—I have heard her speak on Mother and was very moved.
 
Gitaprana lived as a nun at the Vedanta Society of Southern California's Hollywood convent for more than 20 years before she was named Resident Minister of the Vivekananda Retreat, Ridgley, in New York's Hudson Valley. A westerner, she is the third generation of her family to worship the Divine Mother in the form of Kali/Shiva. 
 
You may sign up for the retreat by sending a $25 deposit to the Vedanta Center of Atlanta, 2331 Brockett Road, Tucker, GA, 30084.  Total cost per person is $195; this covers all three days of the Retreat, two nights’ accommodation and five of the New Beginning’s delicious meals!  Please email or call me with any questions.
